Neat and efficient

Excellent piece of kit. Easy install and neat. Good range and very accurate. Only down side is it doesn't have auto day light change so you have to do it your self but its really easy to do so no real issue. Long term reliability, not been in long enough to say but it seems a quality piece of kit so I don't for see problems.Read full review

Salus RT510RF

If you have used something like this before you will have no problem using this. It's reasonably well laid out and the quality is everything you could expect and I have been told by the boiler fitter that Salus are very reliable. The only 2 or 3 things I have a problem with are its not very stable when free standing, the slightest tap and it falls over. And the frost mode and holiday mode buttons are on the top so they can be pressed quite easily by accident. And last but not least my wife still says she can't use it. 4 buttons I don't know what the problem is???Read full review

Salus RT510RF Thermostat

Easy to fit and setup, was able to fit the Salus receiver in place of the existing single channel central heating timer, positioned the Salus thermostat in the lounge as we have a system with radiator and hot water cylinder stats, so opened up the radiator stats in the lounge and we are in the process of adjusting the radiator stats thro' the rest of the house to get a good balance. Simple to set up, it works and looks good

Using it to control a boiler for an office which is in a difficult to access location.
It originally had just a time clock control which put the heat on even if it was 26 degrees.
I used this to replace the time clock and thermostat

There was no roomstat control connected to my combi boiler. Only rad stats and a timer. Once I'd looked up the boiler wiring diagram the hard wired connection of the salus base unit to the boiler took no more than 30 mins - easy. The functionality of the salus mobile stat is really good. It does all sorts - simple to programme and quick to vary from the programme if required. A tip, read up how the salus works BEFORE you get it so you know what you are doing BEFORE trying to programme it. It's easy when you realize how it functions. Read full review

A very competent timer/stat. but programming a pain

The instruction booklet could be more accurate and helpful
Pairing the stat with the receiver was impossible from the instructions booklet I had to ring the help line and did it in less than 30 seconds with three instructions from the adviser who I think spends all his day helping people pair the sets. Read full review
