Excellent scales. Easy to use. Takes AAA batteries whi ch are better than button cells as rechargeables can be used when the ones that come with the scales run out. Very positive and logical buttons. Base is Long enough to put a bowl on scale and still see the display clearly. Only slight criticism, the brushed stainless steel weighing table could get easily marked if pottery or earthenware bowl is placed on it. Plastic bowls should be OK. Read full review

The previous pair of scales lasted 18yrs, the aquatronic hopefully will give just as good a service. They are so slim and lightweight they've been fitted to the inside of an overhead cupboard door so saving more valuable kitchen space. They make amalgamating ingredients so much easier because you don't have to decant them into a verity of receptacles.Read full review
