Completely useless

When we received the Repeller, we purchased a new set of batteries to ensure full functionality, loaded the batteries and checked it was working properly. Inserted into one of the mole holes as instructed,for 3 days we had no sigh of the mole then up it came again with in 2.5 meters of the unit. Thought maybe the unit had stopped working but no, still emitting the pulse every 25 seconds as per the instructions, following day, it came up 1.5 meters from the unit. We tried moving it around the various mole holes but no success. The final straw was when the mole actually came up the same hole that the unit was in !!. Doesn't work.Read full review

It works in my garden! Here's how

This unit works within 24 hours or so - the mole(s) in my garden does not like the noise/vibration. My method is as follows:-
1. Unscrew cap
2. Remove inner workings.
3. Go to a fresh mole hill and locate the mole's exit.
4. Replace cap onto empty tube and using a rubber mallet, hammer tube into said exit hole - leaving the innards in would lead to damage me thinks.
5. Ensure 4/5ths tube is in the ground.
6. Remove cap.
7. Place 4 fresh batteries into the inner workings and gently lower into tube - vibrating end down at the tube's base.

Then hopefully your mole will run a mile and appear elsewhere but not on your property. You may need 2 mole repellents in a big garden to 'pincer' movement the mole off and away!

Failed to distract

I believe it worked for the first 2 days then mole came back with a vengeance. Moved it around the small area but to no avail. Will now look at traps

it works BUT!

This product works as a humane deterrent. However if the problem persists then you really need 2-4 of the product to cover a large garden (we live near to woodland and have a lot of moles)
