Saved me days of work and prevented damage

I bought Strip away Pro to remove "Plastic" Santex paint from the external walls of my house.

My house is early 19th century and has no damp proof course, moisture should "breathe out" through the bricks. unfortunately a previous owner had painted the house with "plastic" sandtex chocking it and leading to damp, mould etc...

I spent 3 weekends and endless pounds on retail paint stripper and high powered jet washers and was getting little progress.

Using this paint stripper after 15 minutes the paint turned to a butter like texture and was easy to remove. The bonus was that it didn't touch the lime wash or lime mortar underneath.

Best Stripper in Town

This one does the job, like paint stipper used to do. I'm on my third can, so that shows it must be good. As well as stipping varnish, I use it to soften butyl putty, the so called not setting putty which is used for double glazed units in hardwood windows. After 20 or 30 years it is rock hard and the only thing to soften it is Strip Away. Thats why use a lot, I have georgian windows, which are 30 years old and 6 or so units now fail each year.Read full review

Strip away pro is an excellent paint stripper even takes off the old lime putty paint, use a good mask and clothes protection and gloves as it will burn you if it gets on your skin.
