Always spend as much as you can on oil, many people will choose the cheapest option when it comes to oil change What you have to realise oil is the life blood of your engine it goes to work from the moment you turn the key it does more than lubricant it helps to cool as well. I would especially recommend this stp treatment with an oil change . I would use a fully synthetic oil then add this after I have run the engine for about 5 minutes .
By doing this you will get maximum benefit of stp and your fresh oil.This will give you maximum engine protection for around 10,000 Miles

Possibly The Best Anti-Ware Oil Treatment Additive

As an engine builder we have been using STP for over 40 years. When assembling competition engine rebuilds we would use STP to coat crank and cam journals prior to starting the engines and we felt at least that it provided great protection from a dry start and prior to the engine oil getting up to pressure to provide a full lubrication.
In each service we carry out we always add STP Oil Additive to both petrol and diesel engines.
Compared to an engine reaching early retirement, the cost of adding this extra protection to extend engine life, it has to be worth every penny.
