Don’t worry if your lawnmower stops. Quite easy to fix with this stuff. Steps you need to take

1. Turn fuel off
2. Spray carburettor and linkages and clean area to prevent dirt entering carburettor
3. Remove air filter
3. Don’t remove carburettor linkages (could be awkward to get back on and mean you’ve wasted your time and now need a professional to sort it out)
3. Remove bowl, and float (pin slides out) careful not to lose spring loaded needle.
4. Spray up centre tube and inlet holes. Check spray comes out through chamber) if not use needle to clear
5. Replace float, bowl and air filter. Tighten.
6. Turn fuel on
7. Open choke
8. Start engine

Petrol intake and turbo 'spring cleaner'

I recently removed the intake manifold and ETM on a volvo V70 24T petrol car. This product was brilliant for cleaning injectors, intake manifold ports and the ETM - a classic trouble zone for the V70 if it is not kept in tip-top order;

The work was to give access to the PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) system below the manifold and the product was also excellent for cleaning the oil trap and associated pipes and 'banjo connector' at the breather pipe.

Later, I replaced the turbo that was leaking oil due to a blocked oil drain. I used a wire to dislodge the worst of the gunge and then this product was great at cleaning up the inside of the pipe. Oil contamination on the clean side of the turbo had made surfaces yellow in appearance but the product sprayed all of this away and left the impeller pristine. The oiled up hot side of the turbo needed a heavier wire brush job but again the product was great for cleaning off the accumulated gunk, once it was dislodged.

I am so glad I bought the three tins and I used most of it on what was a fairly mammoth rebuild - fantastic result and this product played a vital part. Many parts looked like new after intensive spraying of the related surfaces. I would recommend this product and the value is very good indeed.Read full review

This is great for squirting all over the carburettor to get rid of the muck before disassembly. Essential for repairing garden machinery.
