The Surprising Strimmer
Well packed in the box. Easy to assemble. Make sure you check all the nuts and bolts before starting. The harness and the attachment point are a bit of a faff. Could be much simpler. Take your time setting the position of the balance point and the cow horn bars. It takes a couple of goes to get it comfortable.
Starts and runs well. I gave mine about 4-5 heat cycle sessions before using in anger. After the first 10 mins use, check all the nuts and bolts again !
There is not much this strimmer won't take down. There is power in abundance if you rev it.
All in all this is a great deal of strimmer for the money. The 3 year warranty also helps.Read full review...

Lovely well made product, not light, but not for short people.
This is a very nice and well made product, it was easy to assemble and start, however, for someone who is only 5' 4" it is too long and you cannot get the head at the right angle to be effective when strimming. If I could return the product and get my money back I would, but as I said there is nothing wrong with the product except it is not suitable for someone on my height.Read full review...

very impressed
Yes the machine is heavy , but its a beast my uncle has a plot of over ground land and I cleared it in a few hours not two days with help of a friend ,in my option its heavy duty and its made to do the hardest of tasks , I did notice the strimmer was thirsty but u can make adjustments with all the info in a well presented manual, but the land was also thick with big brambles so am not surprised . if u look at the postive,s of the weight it gives u a good core workout if in to gym training :) .I am very impressed with the product so far and would definitely think of buying another type of machine off theses guys

A very realistic value for money trimmer supplied from a UK company
It simply gets rid of the grass as a trimmer should and with a powerful 50cc 2 stroke motor it is light and has no power chord to cut or trip over ! - N.b. the first trimmer I bought from SGS had issues but the company addressed these without issue so - so far so good , It will be having its second use shortly as the grass has grown again - finally its guaranteed for 3 years and spares are readily available ! 9/10 Read full review...

Superb cutter at bargain basement pricing
I was looking for a petrol cutter to help manage areas of horse field. Used items were going thru auction at same price or more than this brand new item, and even better came with free delivery and a warranty...... no brainer!
Cutter is extremely well made, easy to assemble and starts first time. Once you have adjusted the straps its also light to handle for long periods of time.
If you are in need of a petrol cutter of this type then you should look no further...Read full review...

Powerful and tough
Used it recently to cut through heavy brambles in a horse paddock, which it did with ease. It is robust and has a nice finish. The shaft splits in two which makes it easy to transport.
The only downside is it is a bit fiddly to attach to the harness but the method I see is common to most strimmers of this type.
For this sort of price it is good value and I would recommend it.Read full review...

Good value.
Assembly was straight forward. A little bit trial and error to get the harness adjusted but ok. Engine started very easy. Machine has plenty of power to do the toughest of jobs. Would definitely buy again.Read full review...

Even a 5'2 lady can use it!!
Brilliant tool. So easy to start, even for a lady, starts first time too. Cuts through the docks, nettles & large weeds with ease at my field saving hours of spraying with weedkiller! A bit fiddly to put together & you need to ensure someone can help get the balance right when fixing the harness so it's a comfortable fit but once you've got that right it really is a breeze to use & the harness takes a the weight so easy to swing around using the handlebars. I love it!Read full review...

SGS 52cc strimmer/brush cutter.
Delivered well within the 48hrs and in great condition. Assembly was easy and quick with good instruction booklet. The engine needed no persuasion to burst into life once fuel was added. All I all a great quality strimmer for even better price. Look forward to using this for many years as it's build solid. Very pleased with this purchase.Read full review...
