I have returned the Ryobi petrol hedge trimmer because I spent a whole day trying to get it running, I tried a new spark plug, new petrol, changed oil content, all combinations of chock priming pulls ect, my hand and arm are sore,

Another Ryobi

This is my second Ryobi hedgecutter.The first was a mains electric and was brilliant. I had it for many years. My hedges include a very long, very wide and high conifer hedge which the electric one did with ease. Eventually, after about ten years, the hedge got the better of the machine so I needed to replace it. It was a no braainer to get another Ryobi, but this time, a petrol one with "no Cord"

Great Hedge trimmer but a bit too top heavy

Great Electric Hedge Trimmer. Good extension pole but a bit too heavy to hold if you have it directly above you when cutting your high hedge

After a few hours off use it started to get low compression and cutting out think dirt in the cab all ready so i need to put it in to the shop to get fixed all ready when working it was good to use

Bought for the fact it is battery powered. Have nothing to compare it with, but paying £100 extra over electric models is a bit pricey.

The telescopic pole is too unwieldy for me (female) so it will remain unused.
