Do research before buying

It was a mistake buying this item and should have done more research.

1. The surface will not be lasting long as it is pressboard
2. I cannot find a router lift that will fit it.

It might be good for a beginning if you are not doing a lot of work on it, but if you intend to expand your knowledge find something better. I shall be building my own and might reuse some of its parts for that. Read full review

Awesome convenience in a small package!

For a "weekend woodworker" this Ryobi router table is more than adequate. It has a small footprint and it achieves what the more expensive router tables provide. With the $$$ savings you can purchase other items for your router tasks, namely bits.

My first router table

This is my first router table. I find it very useful when building cabinet doors.

I have a Bosch router that I had to fit to the table's mounting plate. Unfortunately, my router required some disassembly (removing the push handles) and needing to drill an access hole for the height control key that I use to control the cutter's depth to the table. Other than that, it works well for my purposes.

Ryobi has included five zero clearance inserts to use (which I haven't yet) and I can see the usefulness in these for control and dust collection with smaller pieces of wood.

The fence is nice with its movable face boards and ability to use the included feather board.

The on/off switch works well with my router and shop vacuum - both go on at the same time.

Easy to assemble, not too heavy. I would buy it again.Read full review

I bought a Bosch 1617 EVS router because it was listed in the router manual as one of many routers that would mount to the insert plate in the predrilled holes, A1, A3 and A5. NOT EVEN CLOSE. I am going to have to try to figure how to mark and Redhill the mounting holes.Read full review

Nightmare withrouter table and router!

The router table is NOT COMPATIBLE with a Dewalt Plunge Router. The screws from router or router table will not fit!! Don't waste your time drilling with the holes in router table template because if your holes are not perfect your router will not fit right and your products that you produce will be "messed up".Read full review
