Excellent value for money. Powerful 2 speed impact drill. Uses standard Ryobi 18V Lithium batteries. Fast to charge. I use it for polishing and sanding woodturned bowls. Get about 20 mins sanding using 5 amp hour batteries. I have 4 of these drills, 2 new yellow ones, plus 2 older blue ones. Blue ones are heavier, so time will tell if the yellow ones are as robust, but initial use they seem the same. They are also very good for general drilling.Read full review

Decent quality DIY

My existing Ryobi drill/driver was starting to get a bit creaky round the clutch and gearing. The drill has seen a lot of use over the last five years. It's a solid worker and the two speed is simple enough for the purpose I use it.Now the batteries are coming into their own and holding charge more efficiently. I assumed after a few years the batteries would become less able to distribute their charge evenly. So there is an upside for me which also made this purchase very worth while.Read full review
