how long will chargeability last? It is advertised as BRAND NEW.

Charges up well but bought to replace another with what I suppose is date of manufacture i.e.2018. The one you sent me has 2019 on it so I hope it won't be equally failing in a few months time.

Ryobi battery, from the old to the new type.

I am just a DIY person with numerous Ryobi tools. I find the 2Ah battery is now just right in size and weight for me when attached to the tools. It lasts a fair time when in use and doesn't make the drills heavy and bulky when in confined spaces and the power does't diminish/tail off over use/time. I have access to the old type big yellow batteries that are large and bulky but I must say the smaller, lighter batteries are more usable. Read full review
