Great product. Expensive and must be applied quickly and sparingly.
This product works as advertised. My only issue is you get a relatively small amount of product for the price. Some of the packages come with just wipes you use to apply, the other packages have a small two ounce bottle. You have to apply it quickly and sparingly as it dries fast. The problem is if you are too sparing it can be difficult to get in tight corners or heavily textured finishes. But the results are very good and it is generally much easier than painting.
I just wish they would sell it in 5 to 10 oz bottles at a more reasonable price so it can be applied a little more liberally.
My window shutters went from looking like they needed to be replaced, to looking almost brand new.Read full review

Disappointed, and it damaged my Cherokee fenders.
I bought this with the idea that one use would be to restore the color of the fenders on my classic 1997 Jeep Cherokee. Like all Cherokee fenders here in Arizona, the sun was changing their color from black to gray. I eagerly bought the WIPE NEW RECOLOR for that, plus to use to restore the paint color on a 1946 Craftsman push mower I bought.
I carefully read the directions, and cleaned the fenders on the passenger side of my Cherokee. I put the WIPE NEW on each fender, and was distressed to see that that darkening was spotty. I wish I could post a photo of my awful looking fenders because there are actually circles of light gray in with the spots of dark gray. I put two coats on and it still didn't help.
And once you put it on, your decision is done. You can only apply a second coat while the first one is still damp, which I knew from reading the instructions. But the second coat didn't help at all. I am so embarrassed at the way that my fenders look that unless I can figure out a way to paint them (and the paint most likely will not stick to the WIPE NEW) I will have to buy new fenders at a price of around $200 each...if Jeep still sells them. Goes on great but can't stand up to weather
I used it on my patio table and chairs which had sun faded paint. I prepped as instructed. Allowed plenty of time for everything to dry completely before proceeding. As I applied it, it worked like a charm. The painted surfaces looked nearly new! I was cognizant of the fact that I needed 24 hours of no rain to allow it to cure properly. I used it first thing in the morning and it rained very late the next night. Let's call it about 36+ hours.
Apparently that curing time wasn't enough, event hough it was 50% longer than the instructions required. The morning after it rained, permanent water spots appeared on my patio table and chairs. I'd consider doing another coat, but the instructions state that it won't adhere to an already cured coat.Read full review

Very good for easy upgrade
This product did enhance the appearance of some very old items and it did not appear to damage anything.
I used it on old painted steel, rubber tires and seats, and wood.
It does have a 24 hour cure time in which you cannot handle it.
It must be handled carefully with gloves and it is very volatile. Best used outside or in an extremely well ventilated area.Read full review

Now Quite New Look
It does spruce up my metal lawn art, but not really like new. I like how matte clear enamel looks a bit better, but am waiting to see which holds up best. I tried it on some faded plastic flower pots and it was a definite improvement, just not like new. I plan on using it again.Read full review
like new -yes- two thumbs up......fumes- not good- need venilation/ fan
bought for relative .. they used it and ?it made their plastic body-parts on their 2001 Nissan xterra like new ...the only thing they had a problem with was he said they needed to warn people in bold print about being in a well ventilated area with a fan to blow away the fumes when wiping it on...other than that its a great product that makes your old body-parts look new without spending hundred of dollars replacing them...I watched a video on you-tube of a news station doing a consumer test with this stuff before buying this and they ran the vehicle they treated with it through a carwash over 25 times to test if it stayed renewed and it did ....Read full review

REcolor
it really did a good job, not tough to do, easy in fact. Is a great way to get the color back in shutters after years in the sun. Just hoping it does last for a good while. We will see.
Longlife span, easy to apply, good value.
Darn this stuff does what it advertises! When someone says they used it a nearly a year ago and it looks like I put it on yesterday, they are being truthful. This has a very long lifespan, use 2 applications for the best results. No longer have to take the shutters down and paint them and put em back up, what a hassle, ha!Read full review

Truck trimmings looks new!
All the rough plastic ashy black looks brand new and not to shiny. Doesn't work on flat shiny areas (door sill trims). No other companies has done a better job this so far.
