To filter or not to filter that is the question.......
Very nice looking kettle and does the job. I'm just a skinflint thinking hmmm 6 filters for £25 which will last another 6 months (you have to buy seperately) Kettle comes with one. We do live in a very hard water area so suppose it will be worth it. Fed up with kettles that fur up in just a few months, even with cleaning. Makes it expensive having to buy filters over time but if you want your kettle to last ... it's a choice. You can use the kettle without the filter as well. Nice looking product. Read full review

Excellent kettle! Good quality and fast , quiet boil
I always buy Russell Hobbs kettles and they have always lasted extremely well. Lovely contemporary looking kettle with the added bonus of a water filter. I hate our tap water taste for my tea so this is just the job Read full review

Modern looking kettle
Quick to boil and easy to use. The only downside you can't fill through the nozzle, and it takes a little longer to fill as the water has to go through the filter.
Have only had for a couple of weeks so far, so cant really say how strong and reliable the lid opening is and how scale resistant it is, but so far so good.Read full review

Only downside is, it has a small water reservoir
Only downside is it has a small water reservoir,
which needs re-filling before boiling to get a larger quantity of water at one time. Overall it is a good product and is good value.

Does the job
I had one before for several years. The catch releasing the lid eventually gave up so it needed to be replaced. It's a good kettle although with the internal filter it does need to be refilled frequently as it doesn't hold as much water. But I have it because I have limited work surface space and this fits the bill nicely.Read full review

A modern, attractive, addition to the kitchen
The water where we live is sometimes cloudy and not very pleasant to drink, so we used to employ a filter jug to purify the water before decanting to the kettle, which was a bit of a faff. This Russell Hobbs one makes life much simpler and although we still have to change the filter each month it certainly makes the tea taste much fresher.
It is very quiet, quick to boil and looks good with its integral blue glow and stainless steel trim.
As others have stated, the mains cable is very short. However, this is not a problem if the kettle is sited upon a worktop with a wall socket immediately behindRead full review

Excellent kettle loving the blue lights when it boils. Only downside is the maximum capacity is only 4 cups. Otherwise a perfect tasting cuppa every time.

Filter kettle
The difference to your tea is very noticeable. Quick boiling so doesn’t really matter about the slightly smaller capacity. Great but. Good service from AO
