Pretty easy and quick to get cool ideas, and the arpeggiator responds accordingly when i play a spontaneous change. I didn't expect it to respond in a favorable manner to my personal style which is not commercial. It can play dark, underground stuff too, as well as poppy! I expected it to sound too normal and predictable, but i can make it sound strange and unusual in matter of seconds with the right knob changes. I thought the Xm comes WITH 4000 tones? Hmmm, mine came with with less than 2000. I guess we are expected to buy expansion download presets from Roland Cloud. May do that eventually. I found it easy to quickly come up with a few of my own sounds and save them as presets. The menu diving isn't too complicated on the Xm. The keys are about the same size and action as the Keystation, maybe a bit better.Read full review
