IT'S PURE PLEASURE and NO PAIN.... even in the pockets
Unless you have graduated into the highly critical stage of audio, this Roku Streambar will excite you well when you first hear what such an affordable unit sounds like, besides being the easy using device for Internet TV.. It's very remarkable for the money, and actually I know of others who spent lots on expensive streambars who say they didn't get as much clear sound. In this progressing technology wave today, younwill further understand lyrics in songs you might have wondered about for 50 years or more. Disables Optical and RCA connections
Works well as a small sound bar, sounds good for its size. My main problem so far is I can't connect my Sennheiser headphones since the Streambar disables all the other tv audio outlets. So you can't use wireless hearing aids or AV Receivers with the roku streamer. But they do work with my DVD player and my fire stick connected to other HDMI ports?Read full review

For a very reasonable price point, this Streambar works exceptionally well. The sound is clear and decent but perhaps a little more bass would be appreciated. Outstanding. Why didn't anyone think of this before?
Love the Roku Soundbar. The TV in our bedroom is a cheap model with no audio outputs. No RCA, no optical, no RF coax. Nothing. And when the AC is running it can be hard to hear the tv. Have to crank it all the way up, and even then you sometimes can't hear quieter scenes.
Got the Roku Soundbar and it solved everything. Access to ask my streaming platforms, good sound, easy operation. It's fantastic.
I would recommend this for anyone with a cheap TV, or if you want to use a computer monitor as a TV. You'll still have to turn the monitor off by hand, but everything else can be controlled with the remote.Read full review

roku streambar activation
connection was ok, set up was easy, but when i try to open hulu, or roku channel, it didnt respond. i d used youtube while trying to figure out if i did something wrong with connecting. the next day i d check for any updates and whoa , it did had one. once i updated every thing is working. no issues so far. i m enjoying it. great product, highly recommended.Read full review

Missing a cable, but good product
Was only missing the HDMI cable, but works great once connected. Your television needs an HDMI ARC port on it to really use this soundbar. The television I was connecting to was an early "smart" TV, one that required a hardwired LAN connection. Never felt like running a network cable to the family room so never used it. We used to have DirecTV. I'm telling you this, because I had to enable the "smart" portion of the set for the HDMI ARC port to function as it should.
Get yourself a really good high end HDMI cable if your sound bar doesn't come with one. Not some four dollar special! After that, this is fantastic. When I'm watching a DVD/Blu-ray the sound comes out the sound bar like it should. The sound control on the TV remote can even adjust the sound.Read full review
