Roku 2710 Works Fine BUT Roku 4210 Or Higher Works MUCH Better.

This Roku 2710 only connects to the 2.4 ghz band and works great with a very strong signal. Also purchased the Roku 4210 which is "dual band" and connects to either 2.4 ghz or the 5 ghz bands and the 5ghz is MUCH better for streaming. Hence, spend the extra money and get the Roku 4210 or higher for the best performance.Read full review

Old Roku still works

Considering that the Roku 1 is an old version, basic Roku device, it still performs at an acceptable level. I hoped it would work faster but it still works, which is pretty cool. I am happy to be using this instead of it being placed in the trash. Read full review

simple easy setup, I also own a roku stick, I like the roku 1 ans roku se models because you can use rca cables to run the video into the tv and the sound to a different device such as surround sound or amplified speakers so you can stream pandora and turn off tv and still have an audio source connected.Read full review
