This is a nice small radio I wanted for the bathroom. The overall build quality is very good, and it has an assuring weight to it. It is framed with a rubber bumper which also acts as a non-slip base which is a neat idea. All the controls are on the front panel, which is helpful if you want it up on a shelf. These are however finished with a slightly sticky plastic coating which detracts from the overall quality feel of the product. If you put rechargeable batteries in, you can recharge them in the radio when you plug it into the mains power cord supplied, which saves the inconvenience of a separate charger. The display is clear, but you can't have the time and what's playing showing at the same time, it's either/ or. Less good for bathroom use. The sound quality is good, but not great, and slightly disappointing by DAB radio standards, and there is no tone adjustment. Reception sensitivity is however excellent, and this radio pulls in a strong signal even with the aerial down.Read full review

i put a new pack of rechargeable batteries in radio & charged fully lasted 2-3 hours, repeated,same result! tried alkaline , still OK after about 25 hours. Pleased with radio, will try otter rechargeable s as first set may have been faulty.Read full review
