Roberts is a quality brand, but this model is lightweight and feels a little cheap. Bought on eBay, you don't know whether you are getting "seconds" or not. My adapter died after a month and the radio died a week later. I wonder if this is Chinese made?Read full review

Great radio, compact and feels good quality. It’s got 3 presets, perhaps could have a few more but it’s not the end of the world. It will go full volume without distorting and although the sound is really good for what it is, I would say it’s more bias to clarity and speech rather than musicality but it’s better than other radios I’ve had at this price and size. Brilliant small DAB radio.

A very good DAB radio for the price. I use it in my lounge and is perfect. People who like a bit more bass in a radio maybe disappointed, but I listen to a lot of chat programs and this is perfect. It only has 3 presets, but it is so easy to use the dial to search. I have set my favourite lower station as no.1 and then did a mid station for no.2 and then my last station no.3 in the higher frequency. This way you can quickly use the dial to search nearby stations you like.

I just wish Roberts were British.

Ok .. outsourcing is all well and good for the pocket but we need to start manufacturing in Britain again. Dr Martens did the same and the product became badly inferior. This “so called” Roberts radio is ok for what it is but sadly it lacks charisma, build quality and it feels really plasticky.
