Disappointing. I expected a lot more from Roberts

Roberts is a quality brand, but this model is lightweight and feels a little cheap. Bought on eBay, you don't know whether you are getting "seconds" or not. My adapter died after a month and the radio died a week later. I wonder if this is Chinese made?Read full review

Great radio, well worth the money

Biggest problem I usually have with DAB radios is getting a good reception. However, I have no problems with this Roberts DAB. The sound quality is really good and it is easy to use. There are cheaper radios out there and a lot more expensive but I would rate this as being well worth the money and would thoroughly recommend it. I also have a non portable Roberts DAB which is great, so would definitely go with Roberts every time.Read full review

Good Quality Basic DAB.

Always loved Radio especially BBC Radio 4.
So bought this primarily to listen to talk radio.
It's well made easy to use and well designed, I bought the black model and it looks great with silver well labelled controls and bright adjustable easy to read display.
The sound quality is ok what you would expect at this price point. It can be powered from the mains via the supplied adaptor or by batteries 4 x AA.

this is a neat little radio, ideal for kitchen or bathroom. It's reliable. Battery life better than expected. Sound quality is good for what it is. Good little radio for sound and volume quality

Good sound quality, & I am happy with volume quality, easy to use. I use if for lots of DAB channels. Very light to move and nice small size but not too small either. Very pleased, exactly what I wanted. I keep it plugged into mains beside bed so can't comment on battery consumption. Slight marks on the little display screen but don't show up when it is lit up.
