My e-bike experence
Great fun, but a few points l feel l should mention. Saddle height clamp a bit poor, number of times saddle slipped down whilst riding bike, despite tightening the locking mechanism as much as is possible, but having said that, l am 16 stone in weight, but surprisingly, my weight did not seem to affect the overall performance. The reason l bought this bike is precisely because my first e-bike was underpowered for a fatty like me, ( battery on that one was only 24 v). Other point on this bike is that it is very heavy, not easy to fold and lift into a car, or bus, train, etc, would have been better made from aluminium, but l guess that would have put the price up considerably. Given that it comes with tail light and powerful front light (dark evenings soon be with us) plus disc brakes front and rear, l reckon overall it's good value for money, especially since you have 30 days on approval, so you can t really go wrong, go on, send for one, if nothing else, you ll have great fun.Read full review...

Great for short distance commuting only
It's really well built and designed, folds nicely and feels very sturdy.
It is quite heavy though so you're not going to be carrying it far.
It's also much harder work than a regular bicycle without the power assist, and it seems to fight against you if you try to go faster than the power level wants you to be going. You probably need to be using half the power to have the same riding ease as a regular bike. On full power you'll travel at 11-15mph easily but at this level you probably have a 7-8mile range before the battery is flat.
I'd recommend this bike to people travelling short distances to a train station or to their job. Its not going to get you far and it isn't as fast as full bike conversions. Short distance commuting is what this is for, I'd say 8 miles max, and if its to work, recharge your battery at the office before going home, then you could squeeze a 16 mile round trip with charging after each journey Read full review...

Powerhog folding electric bike
If you want a medium sized electric bike then this is the bike for you. It comes pre folded in the box.
Once out of the box there’s not much that needs to be done - unfold the bike tighten handle bars and seat to your correct height and charge it up and away you go - that’s all what needs to be done ✅
I’ve had mine for Just over a month and I’ll never go back to a normal push bike it’s phenomenal.

Good but heavy!!!!!
The bike arrived quickly and was easy to complete the final assembly.
I knew the weight quoted for the bike but it still seems surprisingly heavy. It is not easy to get out in and out of the car and my car has a flat boot!
The power assistance kicks in with a surprising boost and takes a few rides to get used to it but it does seem to work well and takes cycling to a different and more relaxing level.Read full review...

Great build quality.
This is a nicely put together bike. It hardly required any skills to put it together (which I was massively relieved by!).
The saddle stem (for my height of 6’) feels a little on the low side. I have raised the stem as far as I dare and it feels stable but I would like to have a little more to play with.
This evoke is very easy to use and the folding nature makes it easy to take in the car and away on holiday.
I personally would like some higher gears but I guess that I’m still getting used to it. Going uphill without my lungs exploding is a novel experience.
One other thing is that it is quite heavy.
