It works well for ripping my CDs to Flac using Foolbar 2000.
Not sure about ripping DVDs. Still need to give that a go again.
I tried using this drive to play a DVD through my laptop to the TV. It worked but the picture quality was not good. Again, I must try another method.Read full review
