Revive Turbo Cleaner Power Restorer Fluid 750ml Starter Kit Turbocharger Engine

Revive on a mk3 Mondeo TDCi

I bought some Revive Turbo Cleaner as my mk3 Mondeo TDCi 130 was going into limp mode, initially when pushed hard, then when pushed a bit and finally just when accelerating. A scan showed a turbo/turbo actuator fault. I’ve never been a firm believer in these “cure in a bottle” type things but for the money and sheer volume of positive reviews, I thought I’d give it a shot. Having removed the actuator arm, I could feel that there was a lot of resistance so thought I’d give Revive a try. The instructions are pictorial and not the easiest to interpret but better ones can be found on their website. Application is fairly easy but that would ultimately depend on your car so I’d advise checking you’ve got all the right tools first. The end result I had was that all power was back (very noticeable as mine is remapped) and the issue has not returned. For the price, I’m very impressed and now won’t be so quick to dismiss every “cute in a bottle” I come across!Read full review

REVIVE, IS IT A GOOD PRODUCT?

It may be a great product, but in my case I haven't noticed anything on my Audi A3 sportback 2005. It may well work for some people but in my case after following all the instructions and the product video, the car was absolutely the same. With these words I do not intend to say it's a bad product but for the money it costs I was expecting better results.
Obviously I can't recommend Revive, will be up to you guys, if you want to have a go please do as if you follow the instructions it want do any damage to the car.

This product works!

This product works! Used as directed my diesel car now performs as new.
I only use the car for around 6000 miles per year; mainly short journeys, with the odd long one thrown in to ensure the engine gets a proper workout. After about 5000 miles I have noticed the engine become a little hesitant to pick up and the odd cough when changing up through the gears. Using Revive clears all the hesitancy, etc., and the performance noticeably improves.
Would definitely recommend trying this product before being stung at your local Dealer for parts you probably don't need.Read full review

Try before taking the turbo of the engine. Good product.

This is very good product. I had problem with engine hesitation, as the car went up hill. I always thought it the turbo sticking. After the treatment the engine is much more powerful and smoother. Not noticed any hesitation so far. Read full review

firstly this was a guess at trying to fix a problem. vvt turbo diesel siren sound when cold for about 2 miles then quite.
the product was easy to use and the turbo (assuming that's what is causing the noise) is much quieter after the cleaner and the car is smoother. the only reason not 5 star is as I would have to have seen inside the turbo before and after. this is not practical as its very difficult to access at rear of the engine.

Jaguar x type 2.0d turbo issue cleared

The Jag was going into limp home mode and after a full service, EGR and Manifold clean, the only thing left was the Turbo. After some research I read about Turbo Revive and gave it a go. Simple to use, clear instructions and what a difference it made. Keep your turbo working at its best

I've used Revive twice and have found that it works well. First time I used it was to eliminate the 'get u home' mode which occasionally occurred. It fixed that! So after a year I am now using Revive to keep the engine turbo clean and running smoothly, as I tend to do mainly short journeys.Read full review
