Reuben Digital Scales

I purchased these scales after going to France and catching a new personal best Common Carp of 1oz under 60lb. The reason why, my last scales only went to 60lb so I couldn't really gaurantee the weight was accurate. I have to say I will probably never ever catch a Carp any where near that weight again but I wanted reliability and ease of use as well with my new scales. The last set, without naming the company make, were a pain to use as after zeroing the weigh sling they would only hold this setting for a few seconds so I was never sure whether I was getting the correct weight. These new Reuben's are a joy to use and once you get used to the settings with regards to the memory they are a very handy tool.
Shame you have to buy the protective case separately at more cost but I went for the chub case as it looked more feature packed and this fits a treat. Also remember not to take weights whilst holding the outside of the body of the scales, it does make a differnce so a homemade weigh bar was knocked up as well.Read full review...

Display Problem

The scales are good as they weigh in 1oz increments. But unfortunately the ones I have have a display problem, the screen is mottled in blue and brown, I can read the numbers but need to contact the manufacturer or seller to resolve it.Read full review...

Great in the middle of the night

These are the first digital scales I’ve ever owned. I did what I feel is an upgrade from the Ruben Heaton dial scales. I have to say think I made a good choice the night light and easy to read weight numbers have proven I made a good choice. Being Ruben Heaton accuracy was never in doubt but being able to see the weights clearly in the middle of the night is brilliant no more head light reflection and wobbly dial needle.
