Beatles unplugged
The disc is a compilation of outtakes and early versions of the classic album. It has that very stark unpolished feel yet you know what the final crafted songs will sound like. For example, the extended medley on the back is included in its original form with Her Majesty in the middle and not tagged on at the end. It is a work in progress look at the Bealtes with (mostly) John and Paul fooling around/refining what was gradually becoming (with overdubs and double tracks) the album you know and love. Remarkable to feel like you are in the studio watching them record/change and change back songs that you know so well.Read full review
