I had to purchase this as my dad dropped his razor and the head would no longer function. It seems very flimsy, and pretty expensive given that it is so easy to break. The plastic cap is very delicate too, I had to replace it as well.Read full review

Disapointed

I have a Remington F4790 straight head razor which needs new cutters, the cost of these is very near the cost of this rotary razor. i thought I would have a change and try a rotary one. Although looking very futuristic with floating head etc. etc. it has a very short battery life ie it soon needs charging during a shave, it can not be plugged into the mains whilst shaving, and takes a long time to get a decent close shave. Well pleased with this shaver so far. Been using for a couple of weeks now and nice and smooth on the skin - no irritation.
The trimmer is handy although a little narrow compared to others. Some may find it better.

But is it Better?

I liked it but a little fragile I thought. It has to take second place to my Remington R-656 which is a more rugged piece of kit and shaves me extremely well and feels pleasant. Others may find that the XR1370 suits them. I find the way it fits contours almost negates shaving action. I like the way that battery time is shown on the display though. Razor review

The razor cannot shave from mains but has a 60 min charge. My issue is after a 3 min shave it takes 6 mins off the charge. The charge doesn't reflect actual use.

I'm really disappointed. After a few months the battery life started to be shorter and the knives are really bad.
