This shaver is very light and gives a very close shave, You don't need to apply much presure to acheve this I went from a foil and the first time I applied to much pressure and got some razor burn. When I adusted the pressure I avoided the burn and now get a very good close shave. It's just persivering with ny new shaver and you soon get it right. A bonus is it shaves quicker than my Braun 7series and is much better on the neck ares than a foil but you will get burn if you put to much pressur no in this ares once again persivere and you will get exelent results without any burn. If you are changing from a foil shaver the r7 seems under powered as it does not buzz like a foil does but this is just a difference between shaver types and you soon realise this a the r7 does it's job admirably well.Read full review

Disappointing performance from this Remington.

I was very disappointed with this Remington shaver after using Philips products up until now. It only gives a very average shave and to get any sort of close shave, I have to use for some time, which makes my face sore. The only positive thing is the price, but I wish that I had paid more and bought Philips again. I’m probably going to throw it away. Read full review
