Relatively Accurate scales for Caravan.

I weighed my vehicle and caravan with these scales. I placed pieces of 19mm pine board before and after the scales to try to avoid the extra weight generated by ‘climbing’ onto the scale’s. I found if you drove back and forward over the scales several times, you get different readings, even if you are only moving 50cm back and forward. I used the middle reading for my calculations.
I then compared my calculations with a Weighbridge weight of vehicle and caravan.
The caravan showed a 20kg difference between Weighbridge and the reich home weight.
The vehicle weighed around 80kg different, but there were some variables that would explain this.
In all, I am pleased with the results and am happy that the Reich scales are sufficient to give a fairly accurate reading for a home weigh of your caravan or vehicle.Read full review
