It really works for me

I suddenly started losing my hair when my doctor changed my medication so I had to find something to make it grow back as my hair was coming out in handfuls. I used another product which has stopped the hair loss but the Regaine has had amazing results with lots of new growth in a short period of time. I use it daily & have been for a couple of months now. It'll take a while for the results to show properly as it's just like baby hair at the moment but once it grows longer than the one inch it is at the moment my hair will soon thicken again. Not for me

It didn't make more hair grow on my head, but it made hair grow in an unwanted place, so technically it works, just not in the way it's supposed to. After four months use, maybe I was optimistic, but I'm very sad my hair's no thicker. Before and after photos for these are very hard to show accurately, and can be misleading. Hair can look thicker purely on the way it's positioned, if it's longer, recently cleaned and dried, the light can change the look, etc. I'd advise people to be very careful before jumping into products into like these and doing their research before spending a lot of money. This brand seldom reaches the area of treatment to work properly

The foam gets stuck on your hair when you try to apply it to the scalp line. It's much easier to use the liquid form than this. It's a waste of money as it seldom reaches it's intended target. In addition, it leaves the hair greasy and sticky at the same time. Minoxidil from Boots works better because it's liquid and comes with Both a dropper and a spray attachment. In short it also is hard for it to do what it claims on the tin, as the product seldom gets to where it's supposed to. Read full review...

Only FDA approved product out there for thinning hair!

Am 60 year old female. Started using this product 2 years ago. At the beginning there was only the 2% liquid for women. It was just okay but encouraged facial hair growth as well! Looks like a barbers job

Unbearable side-effects

I had to stop using Regaine after about a week as the side-effects were really bad. I experienced the worst head-aches imaginable which didn't go away with ibuprofen or paracetamol and prevented me from sleeping. My scalp also felt like it was burning and sweated profusely. I also experienced nausea. After a week I decided that enough was enough. Within about 3 days of stopping using Regaine the side-effects went away...thankfully.

My recommendation would be to only buy a small amount first (I bought enough for 4 months and regret the wasted money) to see how you react to it. Read full review...

Great

I have used this for about 4 years and wasn't sure whether to continue or not.
Earlier this year I stopped for about 4 months and my hair started to fall out a lot, it was quite alarming.
I decided to go back on the Regaine and now my hair is showing some improvement. It is still falling out but nowhere near as bad as it was when I stopped.
The product isn't a miracle cure, but it has helped me somewhat.
The only downside is after a couple of days I can feel it in my hair, not sticky but I can tell there is a product in there somewhere.

Patience is the key for this product

This product was a 'life saver' as I did lose a lot of my hair, for various reasons hormonal, stress etc. BUT it does take a very long time to work - for me about 18 months! Works but give it a chance

This does work but you have to give it time. After 3 months I noticed thinning bits decreased. It also gives root lift and body so hair is less fly away and feels thicker.
