Excellent
This is the second unit I have bought. The first I have in my garage for hot water, this one I am using for instant hot water at an electic only property ibstead of an immersion.

Poor quality control
I decided to do the decent thing and buy a uk made item although considerably dearer than an equivalent chinese product.
Initial problem was getting the cover back on after installation. The left hand stud was pushed out of line by the heating tube which meany the weedy aluminium cap screws were very difficult to engage. Once on, the heater tripped out frequently which meant struggling with That Cover again! The heater is very fussy over the flow volume setting, once that was sorted it seems to be working for now....

Manufacturing Fault
I have installed this product in two previous properties and have been extremely pleased. As it heats only the water you use and not litres of water in a hot water cylinder the money saving is enormous. I would thoroughly recommend this product. However, this one arrived with a manufacturing fault, I was not happy with the quality process at Redring. One of the terminals on the heating element had not been spot welded. I would suggest that this is a ‘one off’ so don’t be put off. A great product.Read full review

Disappointing
Easy installation . 9.5 kw . I purchased this to feed a shower and basin .
Shower 600mm pipe run , basin 2m pipe run . Unfortunately this unit only produces Luke warm water to shower and basin on full setting, no need to blend any cold water in the shower . Maybe the 12kw model would be better ???? . All in all very disappointing .Read full review

Great price, very small and heats our shower and 2 sinks perfectly. So much better than having an electric shower inside the cubicle and it also powers 2 sinks. We removed the huge old water cylinder and now we have an extra cupboard. Wish I did this years ago.Read full review

Don't bother with this. It does not work without tripping out all the time. I've contacted Glen Dimplex/Red Ring however no response to e-mail and when you do speak to someone and they promise to sort out, nothing. Purchased about 6 weeks ago and still trying to resolve.
