Got what I needed
My old sweeper battery died. I ordered this one and waited. I finally contacted the seller about having not received the product and he immediately re-sent one which I received within a couple of days. I'm happy. BATTERY for swivel sweeper
It worked wonderfully on the first try. After running for a while, I placed it in charger to charge.
It has barely worked since. Incidentally it is black not red. I have both red and black swivel sweepers but have always had red batteries for each. I just tried it again after days of charging and it works briefly but not powerfully in my red swivel sweeper. Then, sporadically it will work but only when held up in the air, not placed down against the floor.
It will also run ONLY if I press the battery hard down into the base.
It ran wonderfully at first with my black swivel sweeper but now will not run on it at all. I tried my old weak red battery and the black swivel s. ran but of course low energy but it did RUN.
PLEASE ADVISE.

Great replacement for the 7.2 battery which came with the G1 and G2 Swivel Sweepers. The original battery gives out after frequent use and recharging over a number of years. This battery appears in all ways to be identical to the original. Having these available significantly extends the use of the sweeper. Having an extra on-hand also makes the sweeper more convenient.
