Rain Bird 32ETI

This system worked out great for me. Easy to install if ground is wet. I live in town with a small yard and the system was just the right size for nice average coverage. I have some small corners not being hit, but overall a great improvement for the money. It waters my whole yard at once with average to low pressure. The instructions and performance is very accurate in what it will do. I used a spade to wedge open a line through the yard and then stomped the ground together after installation. This worked very well resulting in very little cosmetic scaring after install. I put my system in, in the fall and tested it then. I have self draining drains at each low point. Even though I have the drains I used a regular air compressor to blow out the pipes which was very easy with garden hose fitting adapter like the adapter used for blowing out RV water lines for winterization.Read full review

rain bird sprinkler system

This product requires more water puressure than most hose facuts can produce, Even though it was advertised that it can cover a area of 3,000 square feet. it falls way short I only set up four of the sprinklers not all 6 and the system really doesn't work well. If you could get high water pressure it may work betterRead full review

Easy to install the kit, works great even on low water flow
After a couple of weeks my garden is green no need to turn the system by hand thats great can b e use to water the lawn in the best hours for the plants to get as much water as they can

Be sure to have the right tools to make the holes in the ground or you will suffer especially if the ground is very dry

Good value. $150 vs the 4000 bid we got to install one by a professional

It functions well for a small yard. There is not quite enough tubing so we had to go to our local hardware store to extend it a bit. It's not a fun evening install as it says. Took two guys an entire day but it got done. All in all I would buy it again.Read full review

Weekend project! Only missing one sprinkler out of three systems purchased. Able to find at local hardware store. Just installed and ran two cycles without issue. Good buy!!!

Great system!

The system is easy to set up, really good quality, and works very well. I set it up with four sprinkler heads on one zone and 3 sprinkler heads on a second zone to cover my whole yard. I did have to purchase a two zone timer and a little extra tubing but that's it!!Read full review

Rain bird

I purchased the sprinklers in an effort to help my lawn survive the summer and I am impressed with the kit and the heads them self well worth the money super easy timer and adds a classy look to the yard when they are watering. One thing is the easy to install part, opening the box and laying it out ...easy.... Burying it .... No way. But well worth the 5 hr it took me to install. Be sure to dig at least 7-8" down to burry the like so when you get to the head you will have enough wiggle room to bury the head 8-9" so just the vary tip is flush with the dirt. I will be getting another kit for the back yard also. Worth the money hands down allready see the lawn growing.Read full review

As advertised

It took me about 8 hours alone to install this system. I installed it prior to seeding a brand new lawn. Had to dig an 8" deep trench to burry the lines. I used all of the 125 feet of plastic pipe that comes with it, but I'm pretty sure you can get more at the hardware store - same as Pex. I have it set for maximum coverage (all sprinklers doing 360 degrees) in a 2x3 configuration rectangular configuration - it covers an area of 50'x60'. Make sure to go view the user manual for this product on the Rain Bird website - it shows how to test your water flow rate and it's important to have enough for the system to work properly. The timer works great, but you can only water twice a day max - would've been nice to have up to four or something.

With all that said, you really need to accept that this system will not cover big areas, but most people have less that 3000 square feet of lawn anyway. Had it for 3 weeks now and my lawn has started to grow. Without this system, and with my travel schedule, I would not have been able to give my new lawn the attention it needs. With this, you just set it and forget it! I can't believe they don't sell this kit at retail in Canada...

You get what you pay for

Ok purchase. Missing some important fittings. I was able to buy a similar fitting. A little annoying but I guess that is what you get when the box had been previously opened and the price was cheaper than the normal retail price. Read full review
