best investment for my families health
T hat is the best investment i made for my families health , works great on odors- no more chemical air fresheners, my sleep improved dramatically, the peace of mind for air being purified 24/7 especially in the current covert pandemic is a great relive.

I can not tell that it performs any better than not having one installed. I still am going to the allergy specialist for my conditions that just started just before I purchased it..

Clean the air
After reading info about the Reme system being used in a hospital's news discussion We decided to try a small Reme Halo in our heat/Ac system. but during the following days we also found we had less eye irritation and less dust in the air. RGF Reme Halo
It was factory sealed, price was very good, and I was able to install it myself in a couple of hours. Though installing on the HVAC output (supply side) is recommended in the instructions, they also mention that as a last resort, it's okay to put it on the return side (input). So I used some plywood to attach it to an old LED TV stand, and placed it just below the filter on the bottom of our HVAC unit. And our house is less than 1600 sq ft, so I fully closed the grill that surrounds the lamp (process is well described in the included instructions). It seemed to make a noticeable difference in pet smells in the house after a day or two, which is the main reason why we purchased it. Also, my wife said her previously excessively dry throat was feeling a lot better after the first day. We leave our HVAC fan on all the time, and I wired the Reme Halo in so it stays on all the time (as recommended in the instructions). I fact, since the replacement bulbs (required every 2 years) aren't cheap, I wired it up to a separate UPS so it would be less likely to experience any power fluctuations. Unfortunately I did two things at the same time, I upped the MERV rating of my filters and purchased this as recommended by my HVAC friend. First, this is a way better price than Amazon or even the installers cost at Thermal Supply. Second, hospitals use these. They kill bacteria, mold etc. lastly, they remove nasty smells from your house. I recently cooked some raw Dog food for a sick pup. Normally the house stinks for a day or two after. Not this time! An hour later the house smelled normal!! I am impressed with how little dust is in my house and knowing that my air is healthier. Fantastic life improvement for those with allergies - great design, great functionaliy
After doing quite a bit of research, I settle on this purifier as a test. I have two heat pumps and live in a high humidity area, and our house is older with older carpet and lots of people, so allergens abound. My wife is pretty severely allergic to most any environmental allergen, and I am allergic to dust and mold, as wells as some others. Nothing severe, but enough that it was draining my energy level from day to day, which I eventually noticed, root-caused to allergies, and decided to purchase and install the Halo as a trial remedy.
Installation is very easy; you are provided the 110VAC to 24VAC transformer. Combined with any plug, you can wire it directly to a nearby outlet (the Halo should be always on, not come on only with the unit - doing so increases the life of the UV bulb). You are provided with a template to cut out a circle in your air handler's plenum (the outlet for air to go into your ducts), which you can do with a screwdriver, a hammer, and some snips. If you do it right, you can push the unit in, flush to the duct, plug it in and walk away.
The difference in the was both immediate and palpable. Everything felt easier to breathe and somehow lighter. My wife and I both have much more energy and need less sleep. So far, it's been a wonderful life change for us.
The downside is, of course, the lifetime of the bulb which is 2 - 3 years and apparently must be replaced with the entire cell (as a consumer and an engineer, I both abhor and appreciate this). We'll see how long it actually lasts, but it has totally been worth it so far.Read full review

Noticed it right away. The air is easier to breathe. No Ozone smell. I cook bacon every morning and the house always smells like it. That bacon odor went away within a matter of minutes. It looks easy to install, but I had our HVAC man install it for the warranty. Clean Fresh Air!
I purchased this about 2 weeks ago, had it installed by a local HVAC guy for under $125.. it seems to be working great. I had black mold in my 11 year old unit due to a prior leak in the attic.Within hours after the installment, My nose and lungs were clear - i had no idea i was congested due to the bad air in my home. I slept better because I could breath easier. It has been 2 weeks and still no coughing and sneezing like before.it goes on and off when my heat pump or Air fan goes on in my attic. Excellent product, bogus warranty
Installed it myself, can tell a difference in the air quality in just about a day. No more moldy smell. Does a very good job. The only gripe is that if you buy one of these and do it yourself they will not offer any warranty on it, but when you look at what most HVAC contractors charge to install one, ($850-$1250) I'll take my chances on the warranty.
