This bag provides insulation under (not to be ignored) and over. If cold at night it requires very little throw over to increase TOG. If too warm it is very easy to 'kick off' legs to cool off due the square design. I find papoose type sleeping bags restrictive & less able to warmup or cool down or even turn over comfortably. A bit pricey but really worth it

We made two into a spacious double for use in our caravan. Slipping into it is immediately comforting and comfortable, so much so we're reluctant to get up in the morning, quite the opposite of the typical sleeping double bag we were using before.

We've had only four nights so far during which the overnight weather progressed from chilly to warm. Remarkably we found our body remperatures remained stable.

They feel a nice weight when in bed, but be prepared for their bulkiness and weight when storing and retrieving. I had to remove the central bracing bar in one of the seat lockers in order to get it in and out easily (as a double).
