Glad I never paid £120 for it.

Easy enough to install. If you're unsure just go to YouTube. Is it worth £120 when it first came out? In my opinion, certainly not. Personally I found it a bit fidgety, even quirky. I didn't get all the stations I wanted but you won't get a pure DAB experience with the aerial provided. The hands free and mic work very well and the call quality is good. Initial install is easy to set up. Just need time and patience!Read full review

An Amazing Piece of Kit

Antenna unit connected immediately. Definitely for techies. After Bluetooth connect it found my music tracks stored on Amazon and started playing. Asked Google what the date was and it came back to me straightaway. Just one small problem. I prefer to run my DashCam whilst I'm driving. It shares the same cigarette lighter socket. Plugged it in and terrible noise then it all crashed. Sent for some ferrite and put on on each powerline and on the line into the auxiliary plug. All fixed. Thankfully the RF interference was just on the power lines. There was no radiation from the DashCam. Can recommend fitting ferrrites.Read full review

Excellent bit of kit

I picked one of these up from the Pure eBay store for much less than the RRP.

You’ll need to set aside about an hour to install it. Mine took longer as I had to dismantle half the dashboard to hide the wires!

It brought my old stereo fully up to date with Bluetooth and DAB. I used the aux input so I can’t comment of the FM input quality. The sound is great but having used FM transmitters before I’d imagine it would be as good.

DAB reception is good; it’s easy to use and the controller is wireless and can be stuck to curved surfaces.

Really a great bit of kit. Definitely go for this over the lesser models as this has all the features.

Upgrade that turned out to be downgrade

Sound quality when used as fm transmitter worse than the fm radio ... difficult to change from radio to BT audio while driving ... software update made this worse ... control unit needs holding when pressing buttons as it moves around on swivel base ... very disappointing for a pure product and will most likely take it out and sell as used on eBay so it’s someone else’s problem Read full review

Very Good DAB Radio Adapter

Fitted today and I was amazed how quickly and easy it is to install, took me about 15 minutes to install on my Audi A3 thats including hiding cables etc...., I use the aux port on my radio and I'm actually so amazed how good the sound quality is and even when I used for phone calls, makes my Parrot CK3100 device look so bad.

Pure highway found 106 stations right away when it connected to the antenna. only negative I would say is the application and using the Go button to find tracks it keeps saying track not found.... and times it does.

Other than that I would recommend to people out who cannot be bothered to change their whole radio system and need DAB and Bluetooth.

Well worth the £70.00

A truly brilliant product that can add DAB, bluetooth streaming and hands free telephone to your car in an easy to install package

Good instructions and very easy to install. The supplied aerial, which sticks on the windscreen, works well. The head unit is very attractive and easy to find a place to mount with the supplied adhesive bracket. You can slide this off and put out of sight when you leave the vehicle.

I installed it in a BMW 325 which does not have a standard radio (DIN) but is built into the dash but only has FM/MW and a CD Player. It does have built in bluetooth but only for connecting a mobile telephone. The Pure Highway had added DAB+ radio and the ability to stream music, podcasts or audiobooks. It works flawlessly with the BWM Bluetooth support for telephone usage.

Be aware, that s the head unit is wireless, it only briefly shows the source/programme so you will not be able to see what track is playing via bluetooth or on the radio without pressing the elect button. That is the only possible criticism, if that is what it is, that I can find.

All in all a brilliant product that has increased my enjoyment when driving that does not spoil the classic design of my car

A relatively cheap wayof upgrading your old car hi fi system

The Pure 600 Highway is simple to install, has excellent sound, instructions are clear and easy to understand. I would have preferred the dab antenna running across the top of the screen behind the mirror where it would have been less intrusive. In the manual I would have liked details of where to order spare parts, eg if the car windscreen needed replacement I would need a new antenna as the glue is only effective once as is the pad for the receiver and the same with the control unit pad. Other than that a nice simple unit.Read full review

Good little gadget

After reading all the reviews on Pure 600 and finding one at a decent price on Ebay. I purchased one, comes with everything you need, easy setup. The DAB is a bit hit and miss, but when you find a channel the sound quality is fantastic, and the hands free is also great, very clear and same features as a mobile phone. Read full review

Be aware of conflicts with other electronics

Purchased for a Volvo C70 Convertible. The cables are only just long enough to reach the central console USB and Auxilliary sockets, once you have drilled access hole for cables.
Initially, the unit would not work once the cables had been routed via pillar and floor.
PURE were contacted and they suggested that other wires in the pillar, such as Satnav or Dashcam might be conflicting with the signals.
Spot on - moved the unit + Aerial to the driver's side.
Now working OK.
