Blown Speaker
The 1XT is a great design and has high quality sound. I bought mine in 2012 and it's been worth every penny! I accidentally snapped the top 25% but luckily the top piece slid back into the wider part and reception is perfect. Due to sleeping very deeply the alarm is always at maximum volume and eventually the speaker blew in early 2918 so achieved a remarkable 6 years! I have now been fortunate enough to get another 1XT for spares so I hope the speaker is easy to replace. Any advice would be very much appreciated.Read full review

Radio quality
I already own a Pure Dab radio and wanted another the same for another room. I knew the sound quality is excellent and ease of use very good for me to select the programmed stations.
So I wasn't a bit disappointed with the one I bought from E bay. I love it.

I made a mistake.
This radio have brilliant sound quality, that’s why I bought it. It doesn’t have sleep timer, instead it has timer only. It’s disadvantage because it bleeps afterwards. It doesn’t not have back light off function. I wish this radio had these functions. I regret buying it.Read full review

Good while they're working.
Pure radios have quite good sound quality but are notoriously unreliable. Mine, my Dad's and the second hand one I bought on E-bay all had faults or packed up completely. On top of this online support for older radios is non-existent. Read full review

Great little radio!
Nice looking, solid, and reliable. It's the perfect little radio in my opinion. Can't think why anyone would sell secondhand but I'm glad they did! (I drpped my other radio and killed it by accident so was really happy to pick up a perfect replacement. Now I want replace all the rubbish radios in my life with more of these little beauties.
