Sizing was accurate which was good as I bought this not to cool cakes but to line a pan for sterilising pickling jars/processing. The short legs made it perfect for the job & boiling it for 20-30 minutes was fine. No damage to finish or warping.
However, word of caution: DON'T put it in the dishwasher ever as this ruins the chrome plating & instant rust patches (it does say hand wash only but I was curious 😐).Read full review

Buy 2 for Sponges

I bought two because I make a lot of sponges and like to flip them onto the cooling rack. That's difficult to do with 2 sponges on an oblong rack.
They are a lot easier to store than the bigger racks and are good for cupcakes etc. too.Read full review

Really useful

I bought three of these to use as shelves in a hot smoker. Wired together with 2mm galvanised wire, they work really well, and can be cleaned in the dishwasher. The size is 25cm, which is about 10". The packaging says they are 8", which is strange. You can probably cool cakes on them as well....Read full review

Flimsy wire rack

This rack is low quality broke when I washed it prior to first use. One of the long wires came away from the main frame at the weld. I only purchased it as it was cheap and wished I hadn’t. Would not recommend.Read full review

The rack fits well inside our cookshop 12 lt halogen cooker. Makes an excellent replacement for the original which lost its chrome - hope this one does not loose its chrome
