MAYBE IT IS WORKING

I have been taking regular strength Prevagen capsules for about a year and I can't say definitively that my memory has improved because there's no way to tell how bad my memory would be without it. I will say though that at times I can remember names and other things better than my peers but it's not a "constant". I would recommend that anyone who can afford it and fears losing their cognitive ability to try it though for long enough to judge for yourself. P.S. I will be 76 in three months.Read full review

Questionable

It's hard, if not impossible to tell, if this product has helped my husband's memory. He still has difficulty, but at times we think it is worthwhile to take this product so have used it for 6 months. He takes 3 other supplements also to help with brain health and memory - and there has been no remarkable improvement. He is still able to function, but his forgetfulness and occasional inability to properly comprehend what has been said is frustrating to both of us at times.Read full review

It works

Works extremely well for me, recommend you try it yourself

In 2014 my short term memory really went downhill, I would get up from the table go back to the bedroom to get something and by the time I got there I could not remember why I was there. Started having to wear my glasses all the ime as when I would take them off, 10 minutes later I could not remember where I laid them. Seen the ads on TV and in the fall of 2014 I started taking the regular strength as the extras was not available then, I took them as prescribed, my wife who was not having problems started taking them at the same time. In about 10 days my symptoms were greatly reduced and by the second week barely noticeable so I kept using them.

My wife did not see any signs of improvement, but she was not really having the same issues I was. After taking them for about six month I ran out and noticed that it took about two weeks before symptoms started coming back so I went back on them, but started only taking them every other day. Once the Extra Strength came out I switched to them and now as before I take one every second or third day.

You will have to experiment with the dosage yourself, for me they worked quickly.

It does work as long as you take it

It has a proven track record, a friend of mine wanted to prove if it really works. He timed his experiment which were puzzles, then started taking prevagen after 2 weeks he did the same experiment again with different word puzzles his time improved after 6 months he ran out of prevagen after two weeks off of them he went back to the puzzles his time diminished so as long as you take them you benefit. I have been taking this for almost 2 months and have seen a moderate improvement in my memory function it is however very expensive (about $25 per month) and that needs to be considered if you are on a tight income but I would say that it is worth the money if it works as nothing is worse than losing your memory. I was beginning to forget where I would leave things which in itself can be expensive. Does Prevagen do what it says it will?

I gained no benefit from using the extra strength Prevagen. Where is the documented scientific "proof" that this stuff is really effective? Where are the independent peer-reviewed studies to back up their claims? At best Prevagen only renders a placebo effect from the user's own hopeful, wishful thinking and desire that it will help. This is a snake oil scam and just pure "quackery"! I wish that I had done my research before throwing away my money on this useless product.
