excellent gas mask

After receiving this repirator gas mask I took special care in fitting to my face which is alittle small. this unit fit perfectly. the quality of the rubber is like brand new never been used or handled.
I imagine I can use baby powder or dessicant bags to keep it dry and free from cracking from age and storing it in a canvas gas mask bag new which I just purchased also....
I think this unit fits my need perfectly. I just hope the new filters I purchased are unexpired and still in good shape for another five years...but hoping tswhtf this year....

Beware of chipped paint!!!!

Great mask but.

Just got my new mask in the mail today of course I was like a kid on Christmas opening it First impression mask is very clean little to no signs of ever being touched. Second impression where the hell Is the filter. Third impression must be in the big green ball. After figuring out where it was it was hard to open I had to use a hack saw and a exacto knife. After getting the filter out I put it in two zip lock bags as I don't trust it to wear because I have no clue when it expired/expires. Allergic to purple sage so Mask arrived quickly and works well. Hacked through a jungle of purple sage and this kept the pollen out of eyes and lungs. I don't want to try it out against tear gas but feel it would work well. Has a tight seal around face. Filter that comes with the unit is hermetically sealed and need a box knife to cut through very thick plastic. I purchased a cheaper czech filter and that worked great. Overall great gas mask

Arrived early, all the parts were intacted, the mask had a little bit wear the paint is slightly peeled off the metal part of the mask, but besides that it is a great gas mask, when I spoke you could hear me just fine unlike many gas masks where you have to yell to be heard this one all you have to do is talk.
