Happy - but with reservations

it is really quite small - so although it works, and allows for 46 volt condenser microphones, the dials are very small and it would be difficult to reset them during a performance. I think you have to just find the right setting, and go with this.. I also bought my unit second hand, so it did not come with any software. In many cases the software doubles the benefits of the machine ( otherwise its a bit like having a PC without the internet ). However it suits my purposes for the price I paid, but intending buyers should be aware it may be better to buy new, with the software added. Read full review...

Fantastic value for the money

I've only had the Presonus AudioBox for a couple of weeks now and I have to say I'm blown away by it. The quality of the product is enormous . The capabilities are astonishing ... with all of the presets and add ons I was up and recording in a few hours.. There's a bit of a learning curve but after a few hours on youtube I was recording and then mixing the very next day.

There are plenty of upgrades available too via the Presonus website , so if you need extra drum or instrument effects, loops etc. you can easily add them on. The software itself is very intuitive and every click, button, command makes sense logically. I have never used any DAW before this one but I don't think I'm ever going to have to.... It's that good.... I would though recommend that you get a set of monitors also as working via headphones only is a bit awkward and does not give you a true sense of what your recording might sound like when burned to CD and played in the car etc.Read full review...
