Unfit for purpose

This item is rated as IP44. As such it is not suitable for external use in the rain! Slight rain shower the other day and the internal electrical connections were dripping in water. Unfit for purpose!!

Campervan hookup

Bought this for our campervan conversion. Easy to fit - the hardest part was cutting the hole in the side of the van. No issues with it, reasonably priced, works fine.

Good replacement for damaged or old fittings.

Good product, easy to fit....this hookup socket looks well made and the spring shut flap keeps the flap closed but as an added bonus the flap clicks when pressed to secure the flap and to stop water Ingres. These facts are very important for any electrical fitting that is used in a rainy environment.
