Superb performance, excellent value, perfect for phones and camera.
This is great microphone and doesn't require any batteries. The package includes an extension cable, a TRS adaptor, a clip, a carry pouch and 3 foam covers for the mic. I tested it on my cell phone and the voice clarity is wonderful. The microphone picks up my voice very well and its clear of distortion. To get it to work on my camera (I use the Panasonic Lumix G85) I have the used the included TRS adaptor and again the sound quality is superb and free of distortions. At really good value for the price and performs as well as mics that are many times more expensive. This is the perfect mic for video blogging especially for the price.Read full review

A good price point option.
Most Lavalier mics are similar in sound quality. I'm sure the cheapest of the cheap are not the best choice but I would also say the most expensive don't warrant the greater cost. Power deWise provides a good middle ground. Probably best sound relative to price. I wouldn't spend more. You can now find complete condenser mic sets with boom arm, shock mount and pop filters for about $40 which do provide much better sound. The only complaint on the Power DeWise is in order to plug the 3.5mm jack into your computer, you must use the supplied adapter. I wasted about an hour figuring this out. I watched several comparisons online and this set seems to be recommended and I agree it is a good choice but if you are looking for quality sound for a podcast or youtube channel, you may be disappointed.Read full review

Worth your time and money
This product is great! I use it at my school to produce news videos, and the sound quality is very good. I found it's kinda proximity based, so the closer your phone is the louder the sound, but even if you're at max distance it still provides great direct audio. My only issue (and this to me is minor) is that if you're filming close, the cords sometimes look messy. But, they can be easily hidden.
Overall, while kinda unconventional, these mics were well worth the purchase.Read full review
