easy way to fix a rotten fence post
had the classic situation where a wooden fence post had rotted at ground level. however the post had a large amount of very hard concrete around it, taking that out would have been really hard and back breaking. i followed the fence buddy instructions and fixed the problem in around 15 minutes and it is a fix which looks like it would last many years, very pleased with the result.Read full review

Easier than a concrete spur.
I had a 6 foot high fence post that had rotted through at ground level. Normally I would use a concrete spur and fix it to the post with coach screws for a rock solid fix. Due to the position of the post this would be difficult so I gave the post buddy a try.
The metal bars look solid enough and I was able to hammer then in between the old post and the existing concrete with a club hammer. a fairly easy job. fixing the metal post buddy to the good wood of the post was also an easy task.
I was happy with the end result. The post which was very wobbly is now fairy secure. Not as rock solid as a concrete spur would be but stable enough and certainly much quicker, cheaper, less obtrusive,and easier than digging out old concrete to fix a concrete spur in place.

Post Buddy saved my broken fence

GOOD SOLID QUICK FIX
Saved me a lot of time and mess plus this is far cheaper than buying post mix and a new post.
The savings on time and labour are amazing. Less than an hour spent putting these in and securing them.
It would have taken twice that time to have dug down and removed the large piece of concrete holding the remains of the post. Repairs done, post painted and stored the tools all in less than an hour gets my vote every time.Read full review

Excellent quality and easy to use product for repairing broken fence posts.
This is a great product, which provides a good value, quick and easy to fit solution to the problem of dealing with a broken fence post. It comes with excellent instructions with further advice available online. One of my fence posts was completely sheared at the base making the whole fence very unstable and liable to being blown down. I was considering the hassle and expense of getting new fence posts and panels but after fitting the "Post Buddy" Fence Post Repair system, it is now sturdy as a rock. Installed quikly, and fence is now very firm again.
I have a fence with the usual rotten base to a post (just at soil level). It would be very difficult to replace the post, or add a cement stub post, because of the location. I can only get to two sides of the post, but luckily that's all that was needed.These 'Post Buddys' were a quick fix, done in about 10 minutes. Fence seems quite firm again. Hopefully a long-term fix, but cannot say as yet!

Good for a quick fix
Easy to install and keeps the fence post vertical. Not as robust as a concrete godfather but much quicker to fix with no need to break out loads of concrete around the post.
