Does what it says
I've used this product before and this is an improved version. Provided the old paint surface is clean and undamaged it's easy to apply (with a brush), wash down with a damp cloth and then wipe off with a dry cloth. If the old paint surface is damaged it's back to good old sandpaper & elbow grease I'm afraid.Read full review

easy to use
I can't believe how easy this was to use. I wiped a chair over with the liquid. It would have been really tricky to sand down but this was a doddle. Left it for 15 minutes then wiped it off and then it was ready to paint. Whole job done in a few minutes. BrilliantRead full review

Delighted to find it worked on varnished wood.
Did everything I had hoped it would. Primer/undercoat took perfectly to the Liquid Sanding prepared surface without any problems. I thought I was pushing my luck expecting it to work on heavily varnished dark wood surfaces, but it has worked for me using two coats of water based primer/undercoat, followed by three coats of water based gloss paint.
Slightly puzzled as to why it is not easy to find in any of the regular DIY stores. Had to rely on ebay.Read full review

Liquid Sander
I have used various liquid sanders over the past years, and have found them to be very good, particularly on difficult surfaces for sanding, such as architrave and textured doors (excellent for these).Read full review

Pretty good product.
Liquid Sanding worked well. Hard scrubbing was not necessary and a little goes a long way. Less messy than sandpaper.

Sugar soap on steriods
This won't "sand" so any roughness will have to be treated in the traditional way, but it will clean thoroughly so that a new coat of paint will adhere properly.

Best labour saver for years.
This product is the best way ever for keying old gloss paint. Just wipe on your old gloss paint with a damp cloth with a slight pressure, put the kettle on, have a coffee. Wipe the previously coated paintwork with a clean damp cloth and when dry repaint. It's as simple as that.Read full review

Great stuff for hard to get to areas.
I have been using polycell liquid sand for many years now always leaves a good surface ready for gloss paint.
Particularly useful in hard to sand areas.
