Great Product

This is one of the best products, if not the best, for removing guitar, scratches in the finish. As long as they are not deep and feel able this should do the trick. It even works of glossy black finishes. Just one warning. Do not use on Matte finishes. For everything else it's greatRead full review

bummer

I researched this product to death, I ordered it , could not wait to get it, showed up very fast. I let it sit over night because it was left in mail box and its cold in Michigan, read directions word for word followed the instructions to a T and even went to the web site to make sure I was doing it correctly, I was very disappointed in product, doesn't do what it says it does. didn't take out and any scratchers, did about ten times. I did a small spot at a time not the whole guitar. I went through almost both bottles, after spending about two hours of my life that I cant get back I went to Wal-Mart and bought Turtle wax scratch and swirl remover, and in ten minutes and two coats all but a couple of deep scratches came out. this stuff works if you want a shiny guitar with scratches, website makes it look so easy and with results, I wouldn't buy this again, I even used it on the same color guitar that was on web site, kudos to the guy who makes it work on site, maybe I should send him all my guitars, again another lesson learned if its to good to be true , you know the rest. Diminished the look of the scratches but didnt remove them

I bought a used guitar on a well known Guitar website , it was supposed to be in excellent condition but arrived with a bunch of scratches and swirls on the top part of the body . I immediately bought this stuff even though its pricey at $30. I read the instructions and applied this stuff a few times(probably 4 or 5 times) , it reduced / diminished the look of the scratches but there are still many . If anything all the scratches are still there just slightly less visible. Note theres lots of glare on the guitar being that's its glossy and the scratches are only visible under the light . I'm glad it was able to reduce the appearance but disappointed it could not remove them.. they're basically all still there. Here's a before and after. I imagine this would work better and darker guitars . A bit disappointed especially being that's ita expensive for the quantity you receive. Read full review

Bring the "new" back to your guitar. Works great!

This is a great product for removing light scratches from your guitar if it has a "High Gloss" finish. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CARFULLY. When used as directed, it worked great for me. I used it to remove some light pick marks from my PRS and it worked perfectly. It removed the scratches while still leaving the gloss shine. The guitar looks as though its never been played. I also used it on the horn and pick-guard of my Ibanez Gb10se and again the results where stellar.Read full review

As Advertised!!

I was skeptical when I purchased but what the heck, I'll give it a go. First, I read the instructions (do your self a favor "READ THE INSTRUCTIONS"). Then, I applied as directed and the results were astounding! I had some light scratches on the back of my 2017 Les Paul Standard T and after using the product once all scratches were removed and the finish was as good as factory new, really! Can't wait to try it on my Martin D14.Read full review

Worked on deeper scratches than I expected

I am in the midst of fixing up countless instruments. I had the repairs and setup work finished on a lot and was looking to simply polish them up a bit. With the combination of the blue and red solutions, I was surprised as to how many scratches I was able to completely eliminate. Also, there were some deeper scratches in the finish of some instruments that I didn't have any hope for, yet with a couple applications I was able to either diminish their noticeability greatly, or in some cases smooth out the area fairly well - all this while ending up with a great shine. I got more out of this product than I anticipated. The instructions say to not use it on metal yet I got great results on lacquered fretboards and it put a nice shine on the frets, also on bass tuning pegs. Also had good results on pickguards even though that is not its intended use. Overall very happy with the results for a minimal amount of elbow grease.Read full review

Did the job I needed it to do

I choose this product to take some scratches and scuffs out of my gloss black congas. The two major scuffs were deep enough to easily feel them by running my thumbnail across them. Black is a difficult color to polish out, but a couple of rounds of #2 followed by #1 to get the glassy shine back did the job. I wish I'd taken before and after pictures, because this stuff restored my drums to like-new condition. Yeah, it takes some strength (rubbing gently will not do it with a polyurethane finish... you gotta dig in), but it was worth the time I put into it (about half an hour actually) to see those conga shells shine like mirrors. Just follow the directions, folks!Read full review

Beauty in a bottle

This is a wonderful product !! I had some light buckle rash on the back of my Song Writer Deluxe that made me sick to see. It took 4 applications of the Blue # 2 and now the scratches are almost invisible. I'm thinking about another app before I top it off with the Red # 1. I let it dry really well after each app of the # 2. I wish I had made before and after pics but honestly I didn't think it would work. I am VERY happy with this product.Read full review

guitar polish

--is easy and fast to use, more time will show just how good. The light swirls come out easily and leave a good polish. Have not used with scratches as have another system .
