PLANTRONICS Voyager 5200

I replaced my aging Plantronics Legend bluetooth the the Plantronics Voyager 5200.
I am amazed how much better the 5200 is over the Legend.
The Plantronics Legend was very good but sometimes the people on the other end had a hard time hearing because of background noise. It was frustrating for me because I need to be heard clearly at all times. I am a professional driver for 10 car dealerships and rely heavily on my bluetooth. I am always on call.
The first time I used the 5200 my wife noticed right away how much clearer I sounded.
Once I was talking outside with a slight breeze and still could be heard clearly. The legend could never do this. The 6 layers of background noise cancellation on the 5200 instead of 3 made the difference. The 4 microphones over 3 helped too.
I recommend installing the Plantronics app on your phone. You get firmware updates and if your bluetooth is missplaced it will locate it.
The 5200 cost a little more but it is well worth it.Read full review

Good Case

This is an updated version from the previous Voyager Legend case. This one has a soft rubber exterior (for better or worse). The battery button to check the charge is much better than the previous. Only realized recently that the hole in the top is like a docking station for it! Although I still put the headset in the case most of the time. The battery indicators have 3 separate lights now instead of blinking the same one multiple times to show the charge.Read full review

Plantronics should have included

I feel like Plantronics should provide a better charger for a $100 headset than a 6" micro-usb to usb cable. If you prefer a better charger, much easier to use and more of what you would expect with today's technology this plantronics charger is a great design.Read full review
