Extra Bass without loosing all the boot space!!

I added the Pioneer Active Sub to my car as the bass response was very poor and everything sounded very tinny. I was very doubtful as to the effectiveness of such a small unit, which I installed under the passenger seat, but I have to say that I am very surprised with just how good the result has been. It has transformed the sound in the car, and brought the overall performance close to that in my Range Rover, which has a factory 11 speaker set up!

Overall I would recommend this to anyone with an estate / hatch back set up that doesn't want to loose boot space.

I will add that I have a sub output on the head unit in the car, so it was wired direct via phono, I don't know how it responds when using the speaker wire connections, but being Pioneer I can only imagine that it will produce favourable results..........Read full review
