The Pioneer RT-707 is known throughout the vintage reel to reel community as the BEST 7" reel to reel out there. My decision was not for this reason, but because I love these RT decks, and they rack mount, take up little space, and don't require a separate table to put it on because it's huge, as do all other types of 7" decks.
