Ideal solution to age old issue
With it’s slim lead graphite it is great for marking and so easy to re-sharpen. So ideal when using the multitude of marking jogs now available which have small holes for accuracy. I used to use my old technical drawing pencil until I lost it. Can’t lose this in green. Wish I had one years ago though the replacement leads and colours aren’t cheap. Read full review

Wondering how I ever managed without
I don't want to have to carry a pencil sharpener around (or just keep losing them) so was using a regular mechanical pencil. Gets annoying when the thin lead keeps snapping.
I was sceptical buying this thinking its just an expensive pencil but the thicker, harder lead means it doesn't snap. You can sharpen the lead (with the built in sharpener) to a really fine point so still get the accuracy of a mechanical pencil.
The holder makes it harder to lose. and it stays put. Only change I would like to see is the addition of a rubber.Read full review

Pica pencil
As a tradesman l have many pencils and when I need one I cant find it or I can see 5 of them around the room on window ledges or next to my saw from my position on a hop up holding a tape or a level or a bathroom cabinet..
So not only do you naturally put this tool in its holder clipped to you clothing it is always sharp will reach through any pre drilled hole and always there. The price is inconsequential compared to the perfection of design for the job and that it Mark's tiles wood laminate surfaces etc within 1mm accuracy all days and is effectively fixed clipped securely and accessible on the front of your body.. just brilliant. Lightweight with great features.
Really impressed with the quality and practicality of the Pica pencil. I would recommend the 4050 extra hard lead refills they give a very fine line and don't require sharpening so much. The holster with the sharpener works well and I always know where my pencil is. Read full review

Pica pencil must have tool.
There are few things that every trades person or diyer should own, but this is one of them, it is what you need, where you need it (convenient belt attached holder) every time, good quality lead, clear markings, deep narrow holes no problem. Make your life easier stop the pencil hunt and buy a pica.Read full review

Brilliant
This is one of those products you didn’t know you needed until you used it.
How many times have you put your woodworking pencil down only to forget where you left it, then when you find it you need to sharpen it? This mechanical pencil is brilliant, the case clips into your pocket and you just pull the pencil out when you need it, if it goes blunt, use the built in sharpener in the case.

No trade should be without these!
By far the best pencil to use on any job.
The sharpener housed in the lid works brilliantly. The metal shaft makes it easy to mark through holes without snapping the graphite. The pencil is also well balanced and easy to use as well as robust and able to withstand a lot of abuse whilst at work.
Everyone who has used mine has now bought them!Read full review

Remarkably brilliant
This pencil will mark anything and using the mixed colours lead make it so easy, I have tried the basic pencils and have them smudged, I work in the construction trade so to find a pencil which marks anything from wood, plastic to porcelain and sandstone slabs is wonderful. 👍👍Read full review

Great pencil but...
Have used these for a few years now and finally not spending time hunting around for my pencil on-site but.... nearly a tenner for a pencil is a bit mouthwatering, even if it is in a plastic holder. Still worth the money for the time it saves me. If you're not always mislaying you're pencils then probably stick with old school, cheap (free..) pencil.Read full review

Just what I needed
I'm a plumber and have used non stop for a week now on installations.
Fantastic pencil for site use, marks everything I have tried it on, long thin tip fits in small holes, and holder clips neatly to my pouch.
