Philips HTL2163B Sound Bar / Subwoofer

The unit quality is fine and good value for money.

The system took some considerable effort to "pair up" with the same manufacturers brand new TV. The contained installation setup manual was lacking fine details regarding TV set-up.( a better manual is available online)
The inclusion of a remote control appears bereft of any significant usefull purpose.

Great but not excellent

2 issues
1- The sub is to small and not active
add active sub and it would be much better
2- (Small but irritating) The device starts when you starts the TV. Then it starts with a input scan But stops at BT because you have a connected BT device near. So the auto start function is useless.Read full review

Good budget soundbar

Good soundbar, sound is much better than only TV speakers, BT connection, USB connection.
Bet there are some things which annoys, for example, doesnt matter what sound level you set, it always turn on at 18, so ussualy you need to adjust volume every time you turn on the TV.
Also you need to turn on the soundbar seperatly every time you turn on TV with different remote.Read full review

Best value, brilliant audio quality soundbar

This is the second unit i have purchased as they are fantastic. The sound quality is brilliant, clear, good bass and depth. It is easy to setup and to use and the HDMI Arc is a bonus, the Bluetooth connection works without any problems and the usb port is handy. I have no real negatives about the unit except that the automatic powering off if no audio is detected (If muted for example to use a phone) is rather short, it should be 30 minutes atleast or even better if you could disable it. All in all very good value for money and hard to beat at this price.Read full review

Good enough for the price

Incredible sound for price

It has amazing sound quality for such a affordable price compare to much more expensive bars from bose, Samsung and LG.

I am very happy that I did not have to spend hundreds of pounds to get this sound quality. My choice was right...

Good sound for the money

Very easy to install and good sound for reasonable price. This soundbar cannot produce high end HIFI sound but it is a huge improvement for Philips tv:s normal sound. Sounds good with Palystation too.
