Awesome product.
Had to buy one. All my friends and family said they worked great. I was surprised at the size. Nice quality. Big. I was surprised how fast it cooked. And everything was crispy the way i like it. Takes a little practice on the timer and heat with different foods. French fries, tator tots, onion rings, soft pretzels and fish sticks are my favorites in it. Very easy to clean. I give it an A+++Read full review

Too much to clean. I'm unhappy with it.
It's OK. It works fine, but it's a hassle to clean. Requires soaking overnight to loosen the crud on the mesh, and the swirl on the bottom of the basket is easy to clean but make sure you get all the surface area. It's non-stick but easy to miss spots if you're not thorough. I'm too lazy to have to do a detailed cleaning everytime I use this, but I sure am not gonna get sick from not cleaning it thoroughly. I will probably buy a different one and give this one away. I spent a lot on it, too. Read full review

Good machine
Bought this because I like French fried , tofu frying no oils. I don't eat meat or chicken , I have no ideas. Foods came out is eatable , drier , compared to regular oil cook, but it is better for my health. Machine is bigger than rice cooker , noise is like the fan when is on. The good thing is my hubby can use it without my help...Read full review

A Quality Unit With a Few Too Many Flaws
This is a well built unit that cooks very well, however, we found a few things that were a drawback.
• The mesh in the bottom of the food basket was difficult to clean. Food would embed in the delicate screen, especially cheese, which was tough to remove.
• The unit does not pause when you pull the basket out while cooking is in progress.
• The temperature dial was stiff to turn for those of us with arthritic hands.
• Mostly, the the biggest drawback was the capacity of the cooking basket which was just too small compared to another air fryer we had.
So although the food cooked well and was lovely and crisp, there were too many minuses for us to keep this unit.Read full review

Good fryer would consider replacing it in kind if needed
This is the small Phillips unit. It cooks well, is quieter than I expected(like a microwave) . The major drawback is that there is a very fine screen on the bottom that is hard to clean. A coarser mesh or better yet a layer of 1/8 inch bars would be more functional. The unit has plenty of heat and cooks fast and the chicken thighs were cooked thru and crispy on the outside. The unit was larger and heavier than I expected but this seems to be true of all of the air fryers. Read full review

Simple, Easy to use, Healthy Alternative to Frying
This Philips Viva Airfryer HD9220/26 is amazing! We can now enjoy eating things we avoided before because frying in grease was so messy and unhealthy. This air fryer is simple to use and so easy to clean and it takes up less space than the old oil fryer did. A big bonus is that the house does not stink when we cook fish and chips or onion rings. I highly recommend this airfryer and buying a refurbished one saved us a LOT of cash!Read full review

Great choice for kitchen "gadget"
I am addicted to certain fried foods, but as an adult I am reasonable about my consumption and intake of them. Enter the Airfryer. Little to no oil. No wasted oil. No guilt. No mess.....my ony complaint (and it's a small one) is that it does make my house smell like_________ ( whatever you're cooking ). I have solved this by placing unit on stove and turning on exhaust fan....or placing unit outside while frying if weather permits.Read full review
